DESCRIPTION

The Owens Brothers sound has evolved over years of performing together.  The vocal blend is unique to brothers who share a similar range and style. Their music is a blend of   many styles of popular music.  They enjoy entertaining and pleasing their audiences with their diverse sounds and have fun doing it.  It doesn't matter if it's a large venue or a small coffee house, they just enjoy making music. The Owens Brothers offer a varied song list of over 300 titles and encourage requests.

Randy Owens: (Guitars, Vocals, Drums, Keyboard)
Randy has been writing and performing songs in and around the Atlanta area since the early seventies.  He has performed (as a drummer, vocalist, and writer) with such bands as Forty Fingers with David Byrd (Glenn Phillips Band) and Toby Ruckert (Buck Board Bandits and Duck Butter).  His influences include everything from Beatles to Burt Bacharach, and such styles as rock n’ roll, folk, rhythm & blues, bluegrass and traditional country.

Billy Owens: (Guitars, Vocals, Bass, Keyboard)
Billy has worked as a professional guitarist most of his life, performing in national shows as a teen with a former group The U.S. Apple Corps.  As an adult, he has toured with former teen idol and current country star Billy Joe Royal, and popular singer-songwriter Dean Dillon.  He has been seen on television with both, on shows such as New Country and Nashville Now.  He shares many of the same influences as Randy, with additional influence from early pop/rock such as Cream, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Rolling Stones.
